It is important to note that seven countries are already sponsoring the first phase of institutionalization and development of SUMMA: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
The Board of Directors of SUMMA is headed by Emiliana Vegas, Chief of the Education Division of the IDB, and Ana Maria Raad, Education Manager of Fundación Chile. This governing entity will also be composed by seven high profile experts and academics with broad track records and international recognition.
The Executive Direction of the organization will be headquartered in Santiago de Chile and will be led by Javier Gonzalez, its Director. In turn, the team of SUMMA is made up by Andrea Medina (Coordinator for Educational Policy Studies), Dante Castillo (Coordinator for Innovative Education Policies and Practices) and Liora Schwartz (Senior Researcher of SUMMA).
